Give your child the edge with our school holiday basketball camps and clinics!

This is a unique way to learn some new basketball skills, while having fun and making new friends in the school holidays.
Former coaches include NBL greats like Shane Heal and Wayne McDaniel

 

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Suitable for kids aged between 7 to 14 years

  • Essential camp for beginners

  • Advanced camp for experienced ballers looking to progress their skills 

CAMP TIMES:

Session starts at 9am (drop off from 8:45am)
Finishes 3pm (pick up by 3:15pm)

WHAT TO BRING:

• Lunch & Snack for the child
• Refillable Water bottle
• Basketball if they have one
• Any prescribed medication (with medical form)

 

WHAT TO WEAR:

- Basketball/sports shoes
- Comfortable Tshirt/singlet and any shorts

ESSENTIALS
(Fundamentals for beginners)

PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS WITH 0-2 YEARS EXPERIENCE

​CAMPS RUN 9AM - 3PM / MIXED GENDER CAMP

Essentials Camps are a great place to meet new friends, learn new skills and improve your basketball game.
The camp is perfect for players new to the game and for those mastering the fundamentals of team play.

  • All camps are mixed.

  • Everyday includes plenty of game time for all players

  • Experienced coaches that put an emphasis on learning through fun activities and games to keep players engaged

The Fundamentals group will learn:

  • Basketball positions, rules and lingo

  • Pivoting, dribbling & ball handling essentials

  • Fundamental shot mechanics

  • Rebounding & boxing out

  • Player spacing

  • Fundamental Player movements with & without the ball

  • How to make decisions with the ball

ADVANCED
(For experienced players)

PERFECT FOR BALLERS WITH 2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
​CAMPS RUN 9AM - 3PM / MIXED GENDER CAMP

 

This camp is only suitable for players who understand all of the elements of the Essentials Camp and have more than 2 years of playing experience.

Our Advanced camps are for players looking to take their game to the next level and work hard over the school holidays.
Days are usually broken into:

  • Mornings focusing on individual development

  • Afternoons build team cohesion, Competitions: 3on3 & 5v5 

  • Every day ends with extensive gameplay, as players learn how to execute new skills.

The Advanced camps feature:

  • Individual player assessment

  • Players receive an off-season training program with access to homecourt.ai at home

  • Our top coaches, most with international playing/coaching experience​​
