HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR A CITY HOOPS PROGRAM?
To register for our learn to play basketball sessions, School Holiday Camps or junior basketball leagues. Either email us and we will register you on the spot or fill in our registration form here and we will be in contact.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY CHILD INCURS AN INJURY DURING A CITY HOOPS SESSION?
Please ensure you let a trainer or court supervisor know. After the session please email through the report to ensure we have record of it.
ARE CITY HOOPS PLAYERS INSURED?
With your registration we provide you with a certain level of insurance. It is advised that all participating members have personal health insurance also.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
For our Learn to Play programs, no uniform is neccessary so have your child wear comfortable shorts, t-shirt or Singlet and some Basketball or running shoes. For our competitions we organize team singlets for players.
DOES MY CHILD NEED HIS OWN BASKETBALL FOR LEARN TO PLAY SESSIONS?
We recommend kids to have their own ball which is labelled with their name. Mainly this is so they continue to practicing outside of our classes and continue learning the tips our coaches teach them during the sessions. If your child doesnt have a ball though dont stress, our coaches usually bring a bunch with them.
WHAT IS THE MIN/MAX AGE MY CHILD CAN BE TO JOIN A PROGRAM?
Our Learn to Play programs are recommended for kids between 6 to 12 years of age. Our competitions run from Under 8s where we lower the hoop to 8 foot and play with size 5 balls.

MY CHILD HAS NEVER TOUCHED A BASKETBALL IN HIS LIFE, WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Our learn to play program or a School Holiday Basketball Camp is a great place to start. We are Here we teach the absolute beginiing fundamentals of Basketball in a fun and friendly way. We are Sydney's largest Social Basketball League.
